　　Steps of an English debate

　　say your opinion

　　1. The first debater in pros speaks.(about 3 minutes)

　　2. The first debater in cons speaks.(about 3 minutes)

　　ask questions to each other

　　1. The third debater in cons asks.

　　2. The first debater in pros answers, then asks.

　　3. The first debater in cons answers,then asks.

　　4. The second debater in pros answers, then asks.

　　5. The second debater in cons answers, then asks.

　　( 30 seconds per people, all are 3 minutes)

　　The pros speak first, then the cons speak.

　　Pros and cons take turns to speak.

　　Rules

　　The rules of asking part

　　The speach of each debater should includes answer part and ask part. The answer should be clear and easy and the question also should be clear.( only one question each time)

　　The rules of free debate

　　1. Free debate should be around two teams.A debater in pros speaks first then a debater in cons speaks. Two teams take turns, until the time is up.

　　2. The time that each team takes should be calculated the total time. When one team end the speaking, we begin to record the time of the other team.

　　3. In the total time. It doesn't matter that how long and how many times a debater speak.

　　4. If one of the teams uses out the time, the other team can give up speaking or keep on taking turns until the time is up. Giving up speaking cannot influence the score.

　　During the debate, debaters cannot read the imformation that is prepared before. But they can show the summary of any newspaper or book.

　　During the debate, debaters cannot leave sets. They also cannot stop the speaking of the other side debater or their side debater.

　　英文辯論賽流程二

　　1、主持人致辭：

　　宣布辯題及辯題相關背景資料;介紹選手及正反方所持觀點等;介紹評委等。

　　2、比賽階段：

　　比賽由正方和反方組成，雙方各2名選手，選手可自行分工，分別擔任一辯、二辯。

　　辯論具體進行過程如下：

　　(一)闡明立場階段(2分鐘)：

　　由雙方一辯進行觀點說明。也就是辯論雙方針對辯論賽主題進行觀點闡述。

　　1)正方一辯發(fā)言(1分鐘)

　　第1分鐘結(jié)束時--舉牌提示,最后15秒--舉牌提示。

　　2)反方一辯發(fā)言(1分鐘)

　　第1分鐘結(jié)束時--舉牌提示,最后15秒--舉牌提示。

　　(二)攻辯階段(2分鐘)：

　　1)正方二辯選擇反方二辯(1分鐘)

　　提問時間為10秒，回答時間為50秒。

　　2)反方二辯選擇正方二辯(1分鐘)

　　同上

　　(三)自由辯論階段(2分鐘)：

　　時間是雙方各2分鐘。由正反雙方(四個辯手均可發(fā)言)自由輪流發(fā)言。發(fā)言辯手落座為發(fā)言結(jié)束，同時另一方開始發(fā)言，另一辯手必須緊接著發(fā)言，若有間隙，累計時間照常進行。同一方的發(fā)言次序不限。如果一方用時已完，另一方可以繼續(xù)發(fā)言，也可以向主持人提出不發(fā)言。

　　(四)討論時間(2分鐘)：

　　在討論時間內(nèi)，觀眾可向正反方各提一個問題，由雙方選派一名選手作答。該環(huán)節(jié)主要是增加比賽觀賞性，不影響比賽結(jié)果。

　　(五)結(jié)辯陳詞階段(2分鐘)：

　　由雙方2辯進行結(jié)辯陳詞。也就是辯論雙方針對辯論賽整體態(tài)勢進行總結(jié)陳詞。

　　1)反方2辯總結(jié)(1分鐘)

　　最后15秒--舉牌提示。

　　2)正方2辯總結(jié)(1分鐘)

　　最后15秒--舉牌提示。

　　3、主持人致辭：

　　比賽結(jié)束。
