The world we live in is becoming more and more intolerable because of environmental destruction. Bird flu and Sars are twotypical examples that environmental destruction may threaten our life. Besides, forest destruction , water and air pollution result in decrease of planting land and unpleasant weather.
由于環(huán)境遭到破壞，我們生活的世界正變得越來越難以忍受，禽流感和SARS是兩個(gè)典型的例子，對(duì)環(huán)境的破壞，可能危及自己的生命。 除此之外，森林砍伐、水質(zhì)污染和空氣污染導(dǎo)致耕地減少，氣候愈發(fā)惡劣。
Serious as the problem seems, we can come up with some measures to deal with it. First of all, the authorities should adopt the policy of "sustainable development", and laws concerning environmental protection should be put into effect and enforced strictly just as our government has been doing.
這是個(gè)很嚴(yán)重的問題，但我們可以想出一些解決問題的方法。首先，政府機(jī)關(guān)應(yīng)該采取“可持續(xù)發(fā)展”政策，有關(guān)環(huán)境保護(hù)的法律應(yīng)該要付諸實(shí)施，并且要像我國(guó)政府一直在做的那樣，嚴(yán)格執(zhí)法。
What' s more, every citizen should realize the seriousness of the problem and make concerted efforts to protect our environment. In addition, planting trees helps improve and beautify the environment.
另一方面，每個(gè)公民都應(yīng)該明白問題的嚴(yán)重性，并為保護(hù)我們的環(huán)境而一起努力。 此外，植樹有利于改善和美化環(huán)境。
Environmental Protection
Today the quality of our natural environment has become an important issue. The world population is rising so quickly that the world has become too crowded. We are using up our natural resources and at the same time polluting our environment with dangerous chemicals. If we continue to do this, life on earth cannot survive.
Concerned people have made some progress in environmental protection. Governments of many countries have established laws to protect the air, forests and sea resources and to stop environmental pollution.
Still more measures should be taken to solve environmental problems. People should be further educated to recognize the importance of the problems, to use modern methods of birth control, to conserve(保存) our natural resources and recycle(再循環(huán)) our products. We are sure that we can have a better and cleaner place in the future.
Do something to protect the environment
保護(hù)環(huán)境，從我做起
We want to hold a green Olympic Games ,so everyone should do something useful to protect the environment ,whether it is big or small.
我們要舉辦一個(gè)綠色奧運(yùn)，每個(gè)人都應(yīng)該做些無論是大或小的有用的事來保護(hù)環(huán)境。
We should do something to stop people from doing bad things to the environment .We should put rubbish into dustbins instead of throwing it about. Everyone must care for flowers ,grass and tress in public .We shound collect things like paper ,plastic bags our neighborhood as well ,it’s necessary to plant more trees every year .
我們應(yīng)該做些什么來阻止人們對(duì)環(huán)境做一些不好的事情。我們應(yīng)該把垃圾放進(jìn)垃圾箱而不是直接扔了，每個(gè)人都必須愛護(hù)公共場(chǎng)所的花，草，樹木。我們應(yīng)該收集社區(qū)的一些像紙，塑料袋的東西，每年種植更多的樹是必要的。
It is everyone’s duty to make our neighborhood much better with our hands minds .Let’s make a contribution to protecting the environment and the Plympic Games successfully.
用我們的雙手和頭腦使我們的社區(qū)變得更好是我們每一個(gè)人的職責(zé)。讓我們?yōu)楸Ｗo(hù)環(huán)境做貢獻(xiàn)，祝奧運(yùn)會(huì)成功。
