邀請函是邀請親朋好友或知名人士、專家等參加某項活動時所發的請約性書信。它是現實生活中常用的一種日常應用寫作文種。在國際交往以及日常的'各種社交活動中，這類書信使用廣泛，在應用寫作中邀請函是非常重要的。
邀請函的格式主要有四個部分，分別是標題、稱謂、正文、落款。
一、標題

二、稱謂

三、正文
